Every situation is distinctive when it comes to providing security to your employees. That’s true of technology, where solutions can be applied that meet multiple needs. Still, it always comes down to solving a problem that feels like it’s unique to you.
We’ve been privileged to work with dozens of clients that needed a customized solution for security and better usage, and we’ve been able to help them meet those needs. Here are just a few of the people who we’ve helped over the past few years, all reaching a potential they were lacking as it relates to cybersecurity.
Reliability as the standard
For the company RoofTech, we were able to help them when the local service they were using wasn’t able to change and grow with its own progress. By using remote servicing through CHIPS, RoofTech was able to continue business as usual. The best part was the fact that a remote tech was deployed only a few times, to help ensure the issue was corrected. That was still within the same day.
One great example of how this helped was when a leader at the company received a call from CHIPS early in the morning to detail a power issue. “I received a call from CHIPS letting me know the server had done its programmed shut-down to protect everything and what I needed to do once power was restored,” the employee wrote. “Prior to this, we just would have had to dealt with a crash.”
This same employee eloquently described how RoofTech feels about having their technology needs met: “Now when I close my eyes, I see a lush green meadow, surrounded by mature trees, with just a very light wind and calm waters on a distant lake.” Sounds wonderful to us, too!
Picking up the pieces after a cyberattack
We can provide a feeling of calm to companies in need of more of a support role, if that’s needed. One example of this value-added service in action is Cain Thomas, a mechanical and electrical engineering consulting company. After dealing with a ransomware attack that took a two-week recovery, they contacted CHIPS to develop a better continuity plan.
“Having to tell employees that they could not work for many days in a row was extremely frustrating, especially since we had a backup plan in place we should have not been in the situation we were in,” a company employee wrote about the ransomware attack.
With CT’s IT department, we helped convert its exchange server to the cloud, while also helping to answer numerous errors that had lingered in their system operations. To date, there has not been a security breach at Cain Thomas.
“Having a functional IT system in place can easily be taken for granted,” the Cain Thomas employee states. “Knowing that we have a reliable and supported system in place, we can work more confidently knowing that any issues will be quickly addressed and solved.”
By bringing together the latest technology with unmatched expertise, we’ve been able to protect an organization’s assets in a way that is seamless to those who use our services. To find out what we can provide to you, go to our website.
